High Strength Durable Decorative Base |
XTREME™ is a new base for traffic and light poles resistant to cracking, salt spray, chemical decay, rotting or pitting and is nearly indestructible.
XTREME is made of a high-strength polyurethane that is commonly used in bowling balls, skateboard wheels, or used in the industrial world as durable liners for rock crushers. It can be painted, and will not rust.
The product was created in response to the problems cities have with pole damage from lawn mowers, weed whackers, cars and vandalism. XTREME addresses the need in the market for a base that would reduce maintenance and improve durability. In the long run, XTREME will help cities, counties, and utilities save money.
Two standard models are currently available, Washington and the Huntington. Both have a clam shell design, and are scalable to match any size of pedestrian, street and traffic poles. XTREME is the perfect solution to retrofit existing poles.
