MusclePoles™ for Special Applications
The patented MusclePole™ is Valmont-Newmark's latest innovation for power delivery structures. The MusclePole™ is a concrete-filled steel pole with a smaller diameter and incredible strength, which allows for restricted locations such as sidewalks or tight right-of-ways.
Hybrid Poles for Special Applications
For special applications, Valmont-Newmark's patented
hybrid, a steel pole with a concrete pole base, provides the strength and light weight of steel in the air, and the quick installation and impermeability of concrete in the ground.
Coating
A variety of finishes are available with steel, including galvanized, paint over galvanized (powder coat or liquid), dulled and darkened galvanizing and weathering steel. Below-grade coatings are available for direct embedded poles. Click here for additional coatings information.
