Anodizing

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Valmont Coatings offers a variety of anodizing options including:

  • Color Anodizing: Valmont Coatings George Industries specializes in aluminum anodizing and provides the largest selection of anodize colors in Type II (sulfuric) and Type III (hard) anodize finishes. All of the standard and custom colors are available in bright dip and etch (matte) finishes.
  • Graphic Anodizing-Eternagraphics: A proprietary process that creates full color, photo-quality graphics in anodized aluminum and powder coated finishes. The graphics are as durable and corrosion resistant as the substrate on which it is applied.
  • Marble Anodizing-Eternalum: A rich, elegant marble-like finish available in dozens of color combinations and distinctive patterns.
  • Fade Anodizing: The blending of multiple colors. This process can be applied to complex shapes and is available in a large variety of custom colors.
